A.L.I.C.E. Chat Robot
A.L.I.C.E. (or Artificial Linguistic Computer Entity) won the Loebner Prize for Most Human Computer. You can carry on a chat "conversation" with Alice, which is just a program using AIML technology (which is similar to HTML).
Computer Stupidities
Put a computer and a computer illiterate together, extract common sense, and you get an unending supply of hilarious anecdotes. Check out the Stupid Tech Support, Internet, and Y2K paranoia pages.
Cyber Rebate
Cyber Rebate is an internet company founded upon a great idea by a few guys. Everything they sell comes with a rebate, and most of them are 100% off! So most items are "free," however you still have to pay tax and \$4.99 for shipping.
DX-Ball Community Website
This site contains a DX-Ball message board, DX-Ball related downloads (including custom-made boards), and more. It also has the cheats for those of you who need them. I mainly use it for the High Scores list for DX-Ball 1 & 2.
DX-Ball Fan Site
Here's another DX-Ball fan site. This site really looks nice and well put together. The high score list for DX-Ball 1 currently has 79 people on it, but it hasn't been updated in a while. The DX-Ball 2 list isn't up yet.

Here's a site where you'll find all kinds of humor, games, brain teasers, optical illusions, etc. to keep you busy for hours. If you're bored, this is the place to go to.

Game FAQ's has a huge number of FAQ's, guides, cheats & tips for all your games. Whenever I get a game I go straight there.

A not so ordinary search engine. Google will return the right results with every query so you don't have to sift through junk.
Language Translator
A quick and easy translator for either plain text, or you can have it translate a web page for you. Can translate English to one of five languages and vice versa. Really great if you have Foreign Language homework . . .

Learn how to do just about anything. Answers to everyday problems in the forms of "2torials."
Offramp Motel
See what happens when large corporations receive earnest-sounding, yet completely absurd letters voicing support, outrage, and more. Very funny site.
PinStruck
PinStruck.com allows you to vent on your enemies by sending them personalized voodoo curses via e-mail. There's no way for your victim to know who the curse is from, and you can also track the curse to see if they viewed it.
Pretzko
Pretzko is a site made by my friend, Dan. You will find a wealth of useful and entertaining content. There's always something to do or look at over there. Go check it out.
sodaconstructor
sodaconstructor animates and edits two dimensional models made out of masses and springs. Springs can be controlled by a wave to make pulsing muscles. Models can be constructed that bounce, roll, walk, etc. You can try some of the ready made models or build your own robots. Very fun.
The Straight Dope
"Fighting Ignorance Since 1973." This site is the Internet home of Cecil Adams, World's Smartest Human Being, and his famous syndicated column, The Straight Dope. This site contains an archive of answers to MANY of life's most interesting questions (dating back to 1994). Each week, Cecil answers a new question on his site - and even you can ask him one. Great site.
Trivia Machine
This is a great trivia game site. The game week starts Saturday and ends Friday. You can play 1 game each day and the player with the highest score at the end of the week wins a prize. You can also play their Classic game as much as you want, and without logging in.

If you know nothing about HTML you can also take the 7 section Basics Primer. There's also huge a JavaScript section. Add Me! is a free service that submits your website to the 30 most popular search engines and directories on the web.
BigNoseBird
This is the ultimate site for the webmaster. This site is part of the ReallyBig.com Web Builder Network. You can find anything from graphics to a CGI Scripting Archive. I think it's best features are the HTML and JavaScript Tricks pages. You can just look through them to get ideas of what can be done on your pages. The other sites in this network are really good too.
HitBOX
HitBOX is by far the best site statistics service I've seen on the web. It tells you amazing information about every hit to your site. You can see stats on each page of your site, like how your visitors navigate on your site, the amount of time they spent on your entire site, as well as on each page, etc. There's too much to describe, so just see a demo. It's a great, free, service.
Color Chart
Color chart with the 5-digit HEX numbers of many colors. These are the numbers you put in the HTML of your web page to change the color of text.
Explode Your Traffic
"How To Get 22,000 Hits To Your Site a Day For Free!" Right. Simple instructions to help increase hits to your web site. Haven't tried it but it looks pretty good. It's worth a shot.

This is a great site that offers a free guestbook for your site. Offers many options and utilities for use with your guestbook. This is the guestbook I have on this site.
InsideTheWeb
Create your own custom message board using this service. This is the one I have.
NedStat USA
NedStat Basic is a free service that will tell you everything about the visits to your website or homepage. Its user-friendly statistics page will give you insight into valuable traffic information, such as the number of visits, where your visitors came from, how they found your site and more.
Pollit
Make your site interactive with Pollit.com Web Polls. They are the, fast, easy, and FREE way to get feedback from your site's visitors.
TenZero
A one-stop resource for free interactive website utilities. TenZero offers free utilities ranging from guestbooks and counters, to polls and mailing lists. I use their WebLinks service on my page. It's a free-for-all link page that allows visitors to add their website to the page.

Doctor HTML
Doctor HTML is a web page analysis tool which retrieves an HTML page and reports on any problems that it finds. You can only use the Single Page Analysis four times in one visit for free. You can use the Site Analysis if you pay for it. This is my favorite validator.
Dr. Watson
Dr. Watson is a free service to analyze your web page. You give it the URL of your page and Watson will get a copy of it directly from the web server. Watson can also check out many other aspects of your site, including link validity, download speed, search engine compatibility, and link popularity.
Net Mechanic
An interactive HTML validator which allows validation based on various standards and which will process your entire site online or mail you the results.
W3C Validation Service
This is an easy-to-use HTML validation service based on an SGML parser. It checks HTML documents for compliance with W3C HTML Recommendations and other HTML standards.
